Launch Film Kit: Apple-style product videos with Remotion + AI agents

A product video from a freelance editor costs ₹10,000–₹50,000 and takes weeks. Asking your AI agent from scratch takes days and still looks like a template. This kit gives your agent the motion grammar, the scene recipes and a render pipeline that already works, so a launch film takes about an hour.

Why not just ask your AI agent?

You already use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Antigravity. From a blank Remotion folder, your agent:

• writes stiff, templated motion. It doesn't know the grammar of launch films: one subject at a time, morphs instead of cuts, a camera that never stops, text that waits for the reader.
• burns days on the render pipeline. Fonts falling back to Arial in the render, Chrome running out of memory part-way, renders dying on a missing audio file, keyframe crashes, errors that only appear in the full render, Windows paths and quoting. How we got the numbers: the kit times are measured on the bundled examples (an agent wrote each example's scenes and audio in 5–15 minutes on top of the kit; rendering and checking the 37 s launch film took 2.5–4 minutes on an 8 GB laptop). The agent-from-scratch figure is our estimate from building this pipeline. Editor prices are typical Indian freelance motion-design quotes for a 30–60 s product video.

1. Brand and storyboard. Put your colours and logo in brand.json, drop in your screenshots, and let your agent write the scene table for your OK.

Proof

Every example was rendered from this package on a Windows 11 laptop with 8 GB RAM, one render at a time, with only one Chrome tab because other apps left under 1.5 GB free:

• Launch film, 1920×1080, 36.8 s: rendered in 2–3 minutes, PASS.
• Feature Reel, 1080×1920, 22.2 s: 1.3–1.7 minutes, PASS.
• Logo sting, 1920×1080, 7 s: under 1 minute, PASS.
• A fresh copy installed with npm ci (2 min 21 s) and rendered the sting with no edits in 101 s, including the one-time browser download: PASS.

PASS means: H.264 video and AAC audio, the right length, no clipped samples, no silent second, and every musical hit within one frame of its click.

FAQ

Do I need to know Remotion or React? No. Your agent edits the code; you review contact sheets and the final MP4. Knowing a little React helps if you want to tweak scenes yourself.

Which AI agents does it work with? Claude Code (a skill is included), OpenAI Codex and Cursor (they read AGENTS.md), Antigravity and others (point them at AGENTS.md). The tools are plain Python and Node scripts.

Can I use the videos in paid ads and for clients? Yes. Unlimited videos for your own and your clients' products, on any platform, with no attribution or royalties. You may not resell or share the kit itself.

Is the music really royalty-free? The score and sound effects are generated by code in the kit, with no samples or recordings, and are licensed to you with your videos. If a platform ever flags a track, regenerate it in another key or tempo with one command.

Do I need a Remotion licence? Remotion is free for individuals and companies of up to 3 people. Larger companies need a Remotion company licence from remotion.dev.
